India News Centre,Jalandharः Director Industries Punjab Mr. DPS Kharbanda today said that the state government was fully committed for facilitating the industrialists of Punjab by providing them ease of doing business in the state.
Interacting with the industrialists here at the local Circuit House, the Dircetor said that the main aim of the Punjab government was to provide an atmosphere where ease of doing business was there for the entrepreneurs. He said that the Industrial and Business Development Policy of the state government has been framed after several deliberations with all stakeholders so that the industrialists could avail full benefits of the policies. Mr. Kharbanda said informed that several policies for the welfare of industry have been framed by the government and assured that there was no shortage of funds when it comes to boosting industrial growth in Punjab.
Exhorting the industrialists to take full advantage of the investor friendly policies of the state government, the Director said that all out efforts were being made by the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to ensure that the state was put on high growth trajectory by giving boost to economy of the state. Mr. Kharbanda said that Punjab was the only state to initiate a unique step of starting "Business First Portal" which facilitates the industrialists for Regulatory Clearances and Fiscal Approvals, real time tracking of applications at common platform.
The Director said that Punjab Government committed for safeguarding rights of industrial units in the state. He appealed the industrialists to adopt EMD ( Expansion, Modernization and Diversification) approach for the growth of their units. Mr. Kharbanda assured the industrialists that the state government would leave no stone unturned to ensure that they were benefitted from its pro-investor policies.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma also exhorted the industrialists to avail maximum benefit from the new policy of the state government. He said the state government and the district administration was fully available for the industrialists to solve their problems.
On the occasion Additional Director Industries Mr SM Goel, Deputy Director Industries Mr Vishav Bandhu, General Manager Industries Mr BS Brar, Field Manager Mr Hari Pal, Senior Industry Officer Mr Manjit Lally, Industrialists Mr Ashwani Victor, Mr Gursharan Singh, Mr Charanjit Maingi, Mr Harish Gupta, Mr Arvind Dhiman, Mr Ajay Sharma, Mr Naresh Tiwari, Mr Ashwani Gupta, Mr Tushar Gupta, Mr Shaant Gupta and others were also present.
