DC VISITS FLOOD PRONE AREAS IN PHILLAUR SUB DIVISION ALONG WITH RIVER SATLUJ
इंडिया न्यूज सेंटर,फिल्लौरः जिलाधीश जालन्धर वरिंदर कुमार शर्मा ने आज बाढ़ संभावित क्षेत्रों का दौरा किया जो सब डिवीजन फिल्लौर में आते है । शर्मा ने यहाँ पर जिला प्रशासन की तरफ से किए जाने वाले प्रबंधों की समीक्षा भी की। जिलाधीश, सहायक कमिश्नर हिमांशु जैन और सब डिविजनल मजिस्ट्रेट राजेश शर्मा के साथ, सब डिवीजन में पड़ने वाले गांव मीओवाल का दौरा किया। जिलाधीश ने अधिकारियों के साथ बातचीत के में कहा कि बारिश का मौसम आने से पहले बाढ़ को रोकने के लिए व्यवस्था की जाए ताकि उस समय किसी भी प्रकार की घटना न हो सके। शर्मा ने अधिकारियों को कहा कि यदि ज्यादा बारिश के आसार होते है तो एसे हालातों से निपटने की तैयारी और बाढ़ संभावित स्थानों के लिए उचित प्रबंध करने के निर्देश दिए। जिलाधीश ने कहा कि जिला प्रशासन की तरफ से बारिश से पैदा होने वाली स्थति से निपटने के लिए पूरी व्यवस्था की जाएगी। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को कहा कि सतलुज के साथ पड़ने वाले इन इलाकों के लिए जरूरी काम को जल्द से जल्द पूरा किया जाए। शर्मा ने इन सिंचाई और जल निकास विभाग के अधिकारियों के साथ भी इस संबंधी बातचीत की। जिलाधीश ने अधिकारियों कहा कि सारे काम को निश्चित समय के अंदर किया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि सतलुज नदी के साथ पड़ने वाले बाढ संभावित इलाकों के प्रबंधों में कोई कमी नहीं छोडी जाएगी, ताकि लोगों को किसी भी प्रकार की समस्या न हो ।

India News Centre,Phillaur (Jalandhar) The Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma today visited the flood prone areas falling in the Sub Division Phillaur and reviewed the arrangements being made by the district administration to strengthen the vulnerable point in the areas along with river Satluj.
The Deputy Commissioner, accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Mr. Himanshu Jain and Sub Divisional Magistrate Mr. Rajesh Sharma, visited the village Miowal falling in the Sub Division. Interacting with the officers Mr. Sharma under scored the need to put in place a viable mechanism for completing all the flood control arrangements before the advent of rainy season. He said that the district administration must remain vigil so as to avoid any sort of untoward incident due to rain during the monsoon season. Mr. Sharma also directed the officials to strengthen flood prone sensitive places to minimize damage in the possibility of excess rain.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the district administration would make adequate arrangements to meet any sort of situation in wake of rainy season. He asked the officers to ensure that any work required for strengthening the vulnerable points along with the river were completed at the earliest. Mr. Sharma also had detailed interaction with the officers of Irrigation and Drainage department regarding their proposals for these works.
The Deputy Commissioner asked these officers to ensure these works were completed in a time bound manner. He said that no stone should be left unturned to evolve a foolproof mechanism for fortifying the weak points along with river Satluj so that people do not face any sort of inconvenience during the upcoming rainy season. Mr. Sharma said that the district administration was duty-bound to ensure that people do not face any sort of problem during the rainy season.
